Well, it certainly has been a while. I've got lots to write, so excuse the long entry;).

First of all, Sweet Cravings has closed:(. Pam wants to open a youth center in Lake George, but I dunno when that is going to happen. I am pretty much screwed for a job for the rest of the summer because I will be leaving for school in 3 weeks, and no one wants to hire me for just 3 weeks. That REALLY sucks. I left the apartment on Maple in June, and Josh and I got our own apartment. I stayed there about 2 months and now I am living with the Benway's. My reasons are...1. I wanted a roommate, and Josh is NEVER home. 2. He really, really, really pissed me off when he decided to tell my mom (not me) that he wasn't going out to Syracuse with me. 3. I need to save the money that I was spending on the apartment now that I dont have a roommate when I leave. I am still really upset about him not going, but if he would rather stay here and be a lunch lady and hang out with his LOW-LIFE friends for the rest of his life thats fine by me.

Next...let's see. I leave for school on the weekend of the 13-I cant wait!!! I am so excited. I found a place out there, it is a ranch house that 4 girls share. Kinda like a dorm setting type thing. It's pretty sweet.

And what else. My brother got a part in a show!!!!!! It isn't on broadway yet, so he isn't getting paid for it yet. It is called Hell's Kitchen. It goes up for investors and backers the second week of August or so, and that will decide if it goes right to broadway, to off-broadway, or to a different major city for its first run. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited for him!! I can't wait to see it.

Other than that...I am still with Scuba...a little over a year now i love him so much!! guess thats it.

RIP Nate

So the last few days have just been wierd. Im fine one minute and in tears the next. But it's like, I didn't even know him that well, anymore at least. I was reading someone's xanga, from SGF, she had posted a conversation she had with another girl. One of the girls worked with one of the other guys in the Humvee that day. She said when the co-wokers brother came in to tell them what happened, he said that Tim(co-woker) had said one of the guys jumped over him and covered him, and died saving his life. That would be Nate, and it wouldnt surprise me one bit, he was always doing something for someone else. Always wanted to help out.

I've never really thought about war before. I mean, I hate war, I hate violence at all costs, but i've never really sat down and thought about all of the men and women over in Iraq fighting for our country. My ex-boyfriend Nate Brown was killed in Iraq on sunday. I haven't seen him since late summer, but this has hit home, more than I would've expected. Part of me doesn't want to believe it, I keep looking at this picture of him, and he is so happy (he was always happy, always smiling, laughing, and making you laugh if you were blue). I just can't believe this could happen to him. I'm trying to remeber the times we shared, it was so long ago. And I haven't thought about him in such a long time, but now I can't stop thinking about him. I can't sleep, it's 3am, im dead tired, but everytime I close my eyes, i'm getting these graphic images of what his last minutes would've been like. He was riding in a Humvee, with some of his best friends (I know that much for sure), when a granade hit them, the other three (one of which was his best friend Rob, even when we were dating) were injured. What a terrible way to die. I remember back then, when we were dating, he was 18, and just starting training and such things. I used to try to talk him out of joining the army, since I hate fighting and war, and violence. He never listened, he wanted to serve his country, and he said he would never be in any real danger, it would all just be training and what not. This was like 4 years ago, when no one thought there would be a war anytime soon. Guess we were all wrong.

Next time you think you are having a crappy day, and you don't think things could get much worse. Think of all the soldiers in Iraq, fighting, dying, so that we can all have our freedom.

Rest In Peace Nathan Brown. You, and all the other men and women who have given their lives for us, will be greatly missed.
